If you are interested in adopting a Bengal from East Coast Bengal Rescue, we have a few requests. Before you fill out our Adoption Application, please review our guidelines on Bengal cat care, so that you will be prepared before adopting a rescue Bengal from us:<\/span><\/p>\n

East Coast Bengal Rescue reserves the right to \u201cmatch\u201d the right cat with the right families; therefore, we cannot guarantee that your application will be approved for the particular cat that you are applying for. We work very hard\n to ensure that the cat we\u2019re placing ends up in the most suitable, forever home.<\/p>\n

We place our rescue cats as INDOOR ONLY.<\/strong><\/p>\n

IF YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT, please note that the Bengal breed is a HIGH ENERGY breed.<\/strong> They need lots of space and room to exercise, explore, and get that energy out. For this reason, many Apartments do not accommodate\n that need. We may<\/strong> successfully place Bengals in Apartments, but this is usually cats who are 10 or older, and also cats 10 and older tend to dislike other pets. We look at each Bengal cat\u2019s needs, individually,\n and ensure that their energy level matches their new living environment.<\/p>\n

Adoption fees vary and are based on Veterinary expenses and other factors.<\/p>\n

Please be sure to fill out every space in the Application or it will not be accepted or processed.<\/p>\n

You can contact us after you have submitted your Application, to check on the status. Our email address is\n adopt@bengalrescue.ngo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A copy of your submission should be sent to your inbox after completing the form. Please feel free to print it out or screen capture it, before you hit the \u201csend\u201d button if you prefer.<\/p>\n

THE APPLICATION IS LONG. <\/strong>There is a save draft button at the bottom which will email you a link to continue later. as long as it is completed within 30 days. <\/p>\n

Our application fee is $10 – this is also a tax-deductible donation. You will be sent a receipt after completing the form to the email on file. <\/p>\n

Because of the volume of submissions we receive, it may take several weeks for us to let you know if you are approved or not.<\/strong><\/p>\n
